• Kathleen Margaret Richardson is one of the reasons why Manitoba is such a great province in which to live. It is people like her who enrich and enliven and educate.

• As a lover of the performing arts, I am a grateful beneficiary of her generosity. When talking to her, one quickly realizes she's also an approachable, very warm and down-to-earth human being. She also did much anonymously, seeking no thanks or photo ops, as I accidentally discovered. She was disappointed her kindness had become known to her beneficiary and through him to me as a result of clerical carelessness. A grand lady undoubtedly.
