  • Because of Fred Penner, I've had "The Cat Came Back" playing in my head for the last 2 years. I guess there are worse songs to have stuck in your head.

  • Not only is Fred an incredible artist, he is also a quietly tireless advocate for special needs and underprivileged children. It's not just an "image" - that kind and generous personality is very much who he is.

  • Fred Penner has been a popular man in my life. As a child I watched him on T.V. and listened to his cassette. I have my own daughter now, and Fred Penner's popularity continues as she listens to his CD every single minute that she is in the car!!!

  • I loved this guy as a kid, and still do! His show was educational and benefitted children even in this T.V. obsessed society. There are far worse choices for greatest manitoban.
