Rules and Regulations for In-Paper "Hockey Moms" Contest
No purchase necessary. To enter, complete the entry form published in the Winnipeg Free Press.
Mail your completed entry form(s) in separate envelopes with sufficient postage to "Hockey Moms" c/o Winnipeg Free Press, Box 2240, Winnipeg, MB R3C 4A7 indicated on the entry form. Entries can also be dropped off (no envelopes required) at the Winnipeg Free Press, 1355 Mountain Ave.
Contest is open to residents of Manitoba, except employees of the Winnipeg Free Press, Corus Radio (CJOB, Power 97) and CV Technologies Inc., their advertising and promotional agencies and all persons with whom they are domiciled.
Only the original entry forms provided in the newspaper or hand drawn facsimiles will be eligible for this contest. Photocopies or mechanically reproduced entries will not be accepted.
All entries must be received by contest closing date, September 19, 2008 at noon. Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received. Random draw will take place at 2:00 p.m. in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Selected entrants will be notified by telephone and must correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question to win.
Incomplete entry forms will not be eligible to win. The Winnipeg Free Press will not be responsible for late, lost, destroyed or wrongly addressed mail in connection with the contest.
Winners names will be available at the Winnipeg Free Press.
There are two (2) prizes available to be won, each prize consists of a (1) VIP package of two tickets for the hockey mom and hockey playing child to attend the NHL Exhibition Game at the MTS Centre at 7:30 PM, Sept. 24th, 2008 and (2) a private reception for the hockey mom and hockey playing child to meet Mark Messier at the NHL Exhibition Game and (3) the opportunity for the winning hockey playing child to skate on line with Mark Messier at a "Hockey Skills Drill" the morning of Sept 25 at 7:00 a.m. and (4) to invite 20 spectators to view the "Hockey Skills Drill" at the Gateway Community Centre Rink Ice Staking Rink, 600 Bonner Avenue Winnipeg, MB R3K0K6. (Approximate retail value of $500 CAD). The first lucky mom and hockey playing child selected and qualified as a winner will be upgraded to watch the game from the Winnipeg Free Press/CJOB suite.
The prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternatives will be provided. The Contest Organizers reserves the right to substitute a cash prize of $500 CAD, if for any reason Mark Messier is unavailable.
By entering, all participants agree to abide by the official rules and regulations and decisions of the Contest Organizers. All entries become the property of Contest Organizers and will not be returned.
Entrants, by entering this contest, consent to the use of their name and/or photograph, without compensation, in any future publicity carried out by the Winnipeg Free Press and CV Technologies Inc.
The contest judges will have the final decision on any interpretation of the contest rules.
